Become energy independent
The uncertainty of energy supply and the unpredictability of energy prices – or rather – the unpredictability of how high the energy prices can go, have become a daily concern. Recently, it’s been the geopolitical shifts that disseminated fear and resulted in much higher energy bills than normal.
Then, the weather. Sometimes it plays in our favor, sometimes it doesn’t, and when it doesn’t, that’s when the things can easily get out of control.
You can’t control geopolitics and you can’t control weather. But there is one thing you can control and influence: your own energy independence. By investing in the high-tech solar energy production, storage, and charging facilities, you can reach full energy independence either immediately or gradually. You can start small and over time add more capacity. But the sooner you start, the better – for a couple of reasons.
One is that early adopters get significant subsidies from the government to transition to green energy. [1] So, you will save a lot of money by just investing early. The EU plans to cut its emissions by at least 55% in 2030 compared to the 1990 level and transition to 100% renewable energy by 2040! [2]
